Michelle L. Kazadi was admitted to the California Bar in 1997. Ms. Kazadi has devoted her practice almost exclusively to the area of family law since 2003. Ms. Kazadi has had extensive experience in all areas of family law including: dissolutions; paternity actions; establishment and modification of custody, visitation plans; child and spousal support; division of assets and debts; reimbursement claims; domestic violence restraining orders; pre-nuptial agreements; and co-habitation agreements.

In additional to her family law litigation practice, Ms. Kazadi is also a seasoned mediator, receiving her certification from the Los Angeles County Bar Association in 2007. Ms. Kazadi honed her skills as a mediator by joining the Los Angeles Superior Court Alternative Dispute Resolution Family Law Mediation panel as a pro bono mediator from 2007-2008. She also worked with Peace Talks Mediation Services as an attorney mediator from 2007 to 2013.

Ms. Kazadi is currently an Adjunct Professor at West Los Angeles College, teaching courses in law and paralegal studies. Ms. Kazadi has taught a variety of courses at West since 2008 including: Introduction to Law; Civil Litigation; Individual Rights (online); Contracts Law (online); Law Office Management; and Family Law. Ms. Kazadi is committed to the academic and professional success of her students.

Ms. Kazadi is a graduate of Howard University in Washington, DC. While at Howard, she majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Ms. Kazadi was a recipient of the prestigious Howard University Trustee Scholarship. Ms. Kazadi received her B.B.A. from Howard University in 1993.

Ms. Kazadi attended the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. While in law school Ms. Kazadi was a contributing member of the Journal of Law and Education; a member of the Moot Court Board; a member of the Honor Counsel; and a Thurgood Marshall Scholarship recipient. While attending law school, Ms. Kazadi also became a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Eta Omega Chapter.

Ms. Kazadi is also licensed in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
